I am sure that Kevin Young and staff will still make a strong pitch to existing Y recruits. He already commented about building on what has worked well recently at BYU, whether in offensive philosophy or recruits that fit the university, and so I am sure he will give them close attention. In fact, he's already said that his first calls were to the existing players - that would be guys like Saunders, Fouss, Hall, etc.
Also, though Collin Chandler has changed his verbal commitment to Kentucky, I think strongly that he and his family would at least entertain a visit from Young and staff. He has not signed an NLI yet to Kentucky, I don't think. Kevin Young will already have a connection to the Chandler situation because his brother knows everybody across the country in those prep recruiting circles, and puts on the events that showcase the high-level players.
Who knows where Chandler will go, and I think it's likely he sticks with the known quantity of Mark Pope and Cody Fueger, but I am sure he'll also be willing to listen to a pitch from Coach Young. He wants to play in the NBA - hard to turn down a visit from an NBA coach.
