...tonight and we sat on the tarmac for over two hours before getting a gate.

Then I get to the gate. 90 people are waiting to talk to the gate agent — who knows why.

The line for the airline "help desk" snaked through the entire huge room, then outside the room the line spanned the distance of 8 entire gates. Thousands of people in the line.

I've gotten 8 delay messages in the past 4 hours. Each delay message is ~30 minutes back.

Pilots just showed to a huge applause in our lobby. Still no crew. Probably sitting out on another plane that might be several more hours before the plane gets a gate.

So, no planes can leave because there are no crews. And no planes out on the tarmac can come deboard because all the gates are unavailable.

Like I said, in complete disaster.
