Who doesn’t love Batman?🦇🏍️ This is the Batcycle from the original series Batman movie and subsequent TV show in 1966. I was doing some research on the bike itself and found out this action information which can hopefully do it better justice. And Adam Wests giggle as he remembers what Burt Ward must have gone through is just delightful. Estimate: $ 25,000 - $ 35,000 US This Batcycle is reported to have come from the concept of Dan Dempski; design of Tom Daniel and built by Dan and Richard “Korky” Daniel for the 1966 to 1968 Batman television show and first used in the 1966 Batman movie. Kustomotive is said to have executed the build, starting with a Yamaha Catalina 250, the Batcycle with sidecar was implemented to follow the almost comic book type routine for the campy and extremely popular television series starring Adam West and Burt Ward as Batman and Robin. Complete with Batfaring and Batfenders - while the sidecar actually doubles as a parking space for Robin’s special go-kart with its 55-cc Yamaha motor, that can be “cut loose” to pursue the bad guys into more confined areas. The Batcycle would be the only vehicle included on a regular basis for the characters on the TV show, nicely complementing the legendary Batmobile. It is constructed from materials that include metal framing, fiberglass, Plexiglas, rubber and plastic creating an instantly recognized link to our innocent past. After the television show ended, the Batcycle was taken to car shows, which resulted in this same group creating four replicas to serve these events. So, whose your favourite Batman?
