his Sr year here. He’s been a program cornerstone from the day he stepped on campus, and was arguably the most important player on the team his freshman/sophomore seasons.

Was obviously limited a bit with injury and splitting minutes with Khalifa this year, but I fully expect next year to be HIS team.

The dude boasts a career 60% average from the field, 74% from the line, and brings in 7+ boards/game, along with a block and assist. Was all WCC freshman team, all WCC 2nd team, and honorable mention all Big 12 while mostly coming off the bench not playing at 100% and averaging a career low 18 mpg.

Here’s to hoping he learned some from Khalfia and becomes somewhat of a playmaking 4/5 up top to go along with his elite low post game. Think he’s a lock for 2nd/3rd team all Big 12 with increased minutes. Hope we see him on the court 28+ mpg this year.

Not only should he naturally improve his game without elite coaching, but we’re all intrigued to see what KY can do for him. Sky’s the limit. Fouss will be able to play pro ball overseas and be a big contributor somewhere for as long as he wants.

Deserves some serious love from Cougar nation with his patience throughout all the turmoil this program faced these last 2 weeks, and never once complaining about a diminished role last year. But the cherry on top of all that, Fouss never entered the portal. A rarity in todays game given his circumstances.

He’s gotta be my favorite player on the team and we’re lucky to have him. He’ll go down as one of the greats in the modern BYU basketball era from Rose to Young.
