If Zach Wilson was good enough to be a #2 pick in the draft then Baylor Romney was absolutely an NFL talent. Fans forget
that “special” 2020 season didn’t have a starter named at QB until late into Fall camp which meant there wasn’t a whole lot separating Baylor from Zach. Zach went on to dismantling bad teams and played a solid but not great game against Coastal Carolina, the one good team byu played that season so to believe that Zach was deserving of the #2 pick in the draft would be to believe that Baylor would have easily been a 3rd or 4th round pick had he been named the starter that season and walked through bad opponents — which he would have.
