and 25% (3/12) from three. If you’re a team you’re probably more interested in seeing how his defense and playmaking looks in such a small sample size, but at least from a box score standpoint he hasn’t helped his stock (not sure he’s hurt his stock much either ftr).
If he thinks he is going to get drafted I wouldn’t blame him for staying in the draft. If the goal is to maximize his likely earnings, he should probably transfer to the highest NIL bidder. And I think there’s a case to be made for staying at BYU as the featured guy with an NBA coach (and still making a lot of NIL). I want him to come back, but I don’t think there’s a wrong choice.
