Guards:
Elijah Crawford, a 4 star PG originally recruited by assistant coach Brandon Dunson to Stanford. Would have low expectations as a freshman but provide a backup PG option outside of Stewart (HS recruit).
OV: Monday of next week
Wings:
Chaz Lanier, a 6’4 scoring wing transferring from North Florida. Has offers from UK and Tennessee but BYU may have a shot.
Jaxson Robinson, you know who he is, he’s done somewhat well at the draft combine but could very well return to BYU if he doesn’t have good enough individual workouts to improve his stock. Most seem to think he’d go to UK but I’m honestly not sure that would be a move that helps his draft stock.
Noah Waterman, sounds like Louisville is making a big push but I wouldn’t count BYU out based on what happened with Hall and Saunders.
Bigs:
Berke Buyuntuncel, a former 4 star big man. Had a rough year at UCLA but could be a dynamic piece here as a 4 with size and post skills and a stretch 5. BYU is very much in the mix.
OV: Tuesday of this week
Maxim Logue, a European player from France. He’s a depth piece at the 5. Very athletic but a bit of a project.
OV: Monday of this week
Not sure why we should be so worried. Land any three of these guys and we’ll probably be a tournament team.
