Jon Krakauer’s book says he chose between ASU, San Jose State, and BYU. This is news to me.

Also, he got in a big fight in high school and nearly got a felony charge for it. Krakauer says the kid who started the fight and the kids he started it with had known each other from growing up LDS. I feel like someone on CB is going to know more of this story.
