Yes, players have been getting paid for years. Like, 40+ years. Bush got caught, others didn’t. But Bush accepting gifts from donors does not change what he did on the field.
He deserved that Heisman. Your assumption that because he got paid, he was doing PEDs is dumb. Is every player in college football/basketball now using PEDs because of NIL? Your logic doesn’t make sense.
