We went through exactly the same thing.
The pregnancy was also #3 for us, and we lost the baby at 13 weeks. Also required a D and C. Just be kind and sensitive to your wife—she’s dealing with a flood of emotions. When the time is right in a few months, try again for a baby.

My sister had to deliver a stillborn baby. From what she said, my advice is to find a support group online.
