Just set it up to pay a good, trusted attorney or account to be the executor. It’s worth the money to avoid hard feelings within the family. And to not put that person through the headache, and force them to Cougarboard for advice. At the very least have a trusted friend who is not in the family and nobody will see again.
I know it works out fine much of the time, particularly in the end. However, I’ve seen most families needlessly fighting and many with long term hard feelings. If there are any real assets, just pay professionals to handle.
