Grew up by Reno. I wouldn’t move back. As mentioned here when the coolest thing
About a city is the nearby Lake Tahoe / other places, then the city isn’t all that great. If youre into snow sports then Reno would be good for you.
Like most places, it can be a great place if you make friends, have family nearby etc.
It’s also a bad airport for traveling.
But idk what your Midwest option is.
