Laramie a must go for BYU fans. I went back in '99 with some high school
buddies and I'll never forget it. It was a chilly November afternoon game. We went in there ranked and cocky (at least as fans we thought we'd destroy them). When we pulled in to Laramie we saw big signs in people's yards that said "BYU Sucks!!" (we may or may not have taken one as a keepsake).

We spent the first half sitting with the recruits and players families, so pretty uneventful. At halftime we were getting a hotdog or something and saw a BYU fan with his wife and I think young kid and he said he was stuck right in the middle of the WYO fans. He was stressed out, so me and my buddies traded tickets with him for the second half. When we were walking up to our seats it felt like every eye was glaring at us, but no words (kind of eerie honestly). We were down 14-7 at the half, but we knew we'd probably win 42-14. As the game went on Feterick couldn't get it going. Wyoming scored at the end of the 3rd and people were turning to us and cheering. In the 4th Wyoming put it away with another TD going ahead 31-10 and we knew we were done. I remember some lady running up like 10 rows to scream and point in our face.

The next day was Sunday and we decided to attend a service at an old cathedral there (I think it was an Episcopal church?). They started the service by talking about how they destroyed BYU and talked about the game a bunch. They eventually talked about the visitors in the congregation and we chickened out and said we were Cowboy fans up from Ft. Collins (we were like 18!), but I think they could tell we were lying.

Overall, it's an trip I'll remember forever. I had zero really negative interactions with those fans. They just love their Pokes. That experience, along with going to games in Albuquerque, Colorado Springs, Vegas, and Ft Collins made me always want to join the Big12 over the Pac12, just because of the small college towns that you get to go and play in. I go to Seattle, LA, the bay area, etc for work and vacation. But when else am I going to see Stillwater, Manhattan, Lubbuck, etc?? Those are the trips I'll remember most.
