No offense, but you don't no what you are talking about.
You appear completely uninformed. Frankly, you are one of the rare MWC apologists left on the boards.

Two facts: The WCC was, years ago, the 2nd best conference in the West. San Francisco and Santa Clara were the top 2 programs. That was a long time ago now. For more than 20 years, the old WAC and the new MWC was, by and large, the 2nd best conference in the West. I predicted several years ago that with the new TV deal for the WCC, and a continuing TV weakness (it's gotten better, but it's still not very good) for the MWC, in addition to the departures of BYU and Utah, the WCC would pass up the MWC and consistently be the 2nd best conference in the West again. Last year, the WCC was better. This year, IMO, the WCC will be better. But the history of the 2 conferences is fairly straightforward. If BYU wasn't in the WCC, I'd say that the MWC would almost certainly be stronger. Thankfully, we are out of that mess, and in a conference with upward momentum.

Which conference has more NCAA Tournament wins? The WCC. Which Conference has the better all-time college/NBA greats? The WCC, and it's not even close. Which conference was the first to get 3 teams into the NCAA Tournament? The WCC.

The MWC, with BYU and Utah (before their slide), was a great conference. It was a fantastic conference for 7-8 seasons. Predictably (thanks to revenue and TV problems), it is going downhill. With recent additions, it has a burgeoning club of teams that have NEVER won an NCAA Tournament game (Boise State, Air Force, and San Jose State). SDSU made it's first appearance EVER in the polls in 2011, and they have a grand total of 5 NCAA Tournament wins, with the first of those coming in 2011. Minus UNLV (who has only won 3 NCAA tournament games since Tark left more than 20 years ago), the MWC has a horrible postseason history.

Face the facts. The WCC was a better conference last year, in terms of RPI, head to head (The WCC was 8-5 vs. the MWC last season), and postseason bids (The WCC had 2 in the NCAA and 2 in the NIT. The MWC had 2 in the NCAA and 0 in the NIT).

You may want to take a look at the number of quality players that have transferred out of the MWC in just one offseason before you say much more on the subject: http://www.coloradoan.com/story/sports/csu/mens-basketball/2014/06/18/mountain-west-basketball-lost-players-offseason/10787989/
