lost a bunch of guys on the d-line...but those that are available are all top notch players (e.g., Beckner was a top 5 recruit this past year and he's been impressing coaches with his ability to learn the scheme and with his high motor). Another mitigating factor is that Odom's defense relies more on linebackers (really deep--potentially better than any group Mizzou has ever put on the field) and the secondary (again, very deep) than the defense that Steckel put in the field.
I think that Mizzou is going to be the toughest team that BYU faces this year. Despite the personnel issues, their depth is insane. Welcome to the SEC.
