There are lots of 3 and 4 star guys there that just never materialized.

I still think So'oto could have been a great TE if not for his inopportune fumbles, and having to complete w/ Pita/George.

We had an embarrassment of riches w/ Mahina, Muelhlman, Friel, Holt, Murphy, and Wilson that just never materialized.
- Murphy saw the log jam and decided to wuss out and go to Utah, when he would have easily won out.
- Wilson wasn't cut out for D1 sports from a work ethic standpoint.
- The others never developed into a good blocker/receiver combo. Holt and Muelhman were good blockers, not fluid receivers. Friel and Mahina were ok receivers but not good blockers.

Bryson was a DE prospect.

Colby Jorgensen was a great get from a recruiting standpoint (given his athletic bonafides) - not sure why he didn't pan out as a TE.

MLP and Bushman were great gets and looks like MLP is going to work out at another position. We'll see about Bushman, but I'm encouraged that he was a multi-sport athlete.
