So for $30 extra, you get 4k video, 802.11a/c wireless, a remote finder, and
optical video out.

That sounds reasonable for the extra money, but since I don't have a 4k TV (and don't plan to have one for a while because of the lack of 4k video sources), I would probably stick to the Roku 3 if I were buying today.
