You're doubting the FBI crime stats? Further you should recognize the difference
Between the U3 rate and the U6 rate. Their stats are correct you are just cherry picking which ones you use to say they're incorrect, when they're quite correct at showing the data they purport to show.
Yes the cpi is a faulty metric but what you're suggesting is that they're putting the wrong numbers in, when they aren't. You just have to look at the right data. The FBI crime stats are the right data.
