care at all about the government, but I guess that is what happens when people sit on their high horses and judge others.
And, what are government stats? Those sent out by the white house, State Department, DOD, etc? Your generalization of all statistics that come from the government, while sweet and well intentioned, display a scene of naivete in your logic. Do you also wear tin foil hats?
Like I mentioned earlier, I don't have any first hand experience, nor was I stating that your daughter was wrong. I was merely pointing out that if (legitmate) data and statistics are put forth, then it matters not at all what someone experience is or their opinion on the matter. I can say that it is 24 degrees outside and believe it all I want, but that doesn't mean it is reality.
Your daughter, and you, are not being that drastic in your opinion, but you may need to read my original comments again.
