...in our culture (LDS) it's tough to be critical or edgy and draw an audience. As a result you're going to get (i) more optimism and (ii) more goofiness than elsewhere. I'm fine with that; I enjoy having a place to get news about BYU sports. What annoys me is really the goofiness more than the eternal optimism. Can't stand Jarom's affected high-pitched laugh. Just not funny and grating on the ears. Continual Star Wars / Marvel references must also be a Utah thing. They don't resonate with me. But I still listen.
