pretty early in the 4th quarter (about 9 minutes left in the game), and c) while Kyle did stop the initial forward momentum, the D-line still had to stop him from falling forward. It also doesn't take into account that Hawaii had first and goal at the 2 and then 2nd and goal inside the 1 and both of those plays were stopped by the D-line and LBers - not as flashy as the Kyle play, but equally as clutch.
Finally, Hawaii did kick a FG on the next play to take the lead and Robbie Bosco led them down the field and hit Koslowski in stride over the middle for a TD to get the lead back with a couple minutes left.
Not saying the Morrell play wasn't great, but it's taken on a life of its own and has morphed into a game-saving play in the final seconds. It was a long ways from that, and a lot of players made plays down the stretch of that game to earn a tough win to and go 4-0 on the young season.
