Current NIL situation. Leaving a winning program on a team where you start and have already established yourself with the community and fanbase makes no sense unless $$$ is involved. Even if your coach leaves.

Every team has at least 3-5 guys in the portal every single year. That was not the case before NIL. It used to be bench players and guys not getting enough minutes who were doing the transferring. Now it's starters. It's stupid and will ruin the game.

It actually already has. When a women's game is getting 12 million viewers it shows that people are desperate to see some star power. So desperate to see a name they are familiar with that they would watch women play basketball.
