I put on some weight during the pandemic. Never stopped exercising. It was boredom/stress eating (and aging out of my magic young man's metabolism). I dropped ~30 lbs between about January and April '23 and I've pretty much kept it off since then. Before Noom, I didn't have a good sense for how many calories I actually need, how many I was eating, and how much I burn in a day or a workout. Eye opening to see that what I considered a normal portion (e.g., a standard order at many restaurants) was about double what I actually wanted to eat in one sitting.
