clear and present, like lifting the gun up or whatever, is one of the biggest dangers that police sign up for. It sucks, but it is what it is.

Every certified, legitimate police academy teaches that. And if you are so scared/jumpy that you can’t wait until that imminent threat, you shouldn’t be a cop, or you need to be at peace with knowing you will probably get fired and prosecuted. Especially in 2024 America.

I say this, while being probably one of the most pro police people I know.

But those are hard the facts.
