...especially in the 2nd half of the game. Both players had multiple passes defended. Preator especially looked good taking their star WR out of play several times covering him like a blanket. Davis wasn't as tight with his coverage but he stayed close to his man and used his speed to recover, close in quickly and break the play up.
In the UVA game JJ and Rob Daniels at times looked like freshman who'd never played before. What was especially frustrating about the 10+ yd cushion was that they maintained that cushion throughout the route run by the WR so that when the pass was thrown they still had all that ground to make up and ended up whiffing on the tackle when the WR did a little spin move to elude them and ran for extra YAC.
