That said, haha, you basically have defined everything for the past 5 years. However, a lot of college teams go through several years in the wilderness, only to reemerge and be amazing. It is entirely plausible that BYU has a breakout year next year, just as its possible for dozens of other FBS programs.

Just look at Texas. They've actually gone to 2 National Championships in the last decade. They probably think they deserve to have gone to 2 more than that. And they are insatiably unsatisfied.
