my livelihood, I became more aware of BYU. As an athlete, I was gaining a strong respect for the athletes that chose BYU over all other schools. I admired the school for its academic, honor code, athletes giving up two years of development all while be very competitive in all sports. This was back in the mid-70's.
After a self-conversion, I decided to transfer my credits to BYU and get my degree there. I have never looked back and have fallen in love, embracing BYU as our family. We have been season ticket holders since 1976 (if you include being a student). We travel to the away football games and bowl games.
Over the years we have donated to the stadium, baseball/softball complex, student center and other projects.
We have fond memories of players running up to us informing us they had just recieved a scholarship. This provides an amazing feeling. We became Legacy members in the CougarClub to further the experience for student/athletes, BYU, and the Church as a whole.
As long as BYU remains in line with the Church's mission, we will always donate to the program.
Go Cougars!!!!!!!!!!!!!
