Or is that more of a daily strategy?

I have Julio Jones and Eli Manning on my team. Shall I offer to trade Eli for Matt Ryan to the owner who has Odell Beckam Jr and Matt Ryan even though Eli is having a slightly better season than Ryan?

I don't think it matters at all.
