Many years ago when we were in the MWC/WAC, A friend and our wives went to an SDSU game at Qualcom Stadium. We were winning the game, but this group of drunks in front of us were giving us the usual Mormon garbage. As they became more drunk, the onslaught became worse. Both of us are skinny white guys, so we didn't really respond. Seated a few rows behind them was a few biker dudes and their wives. They had their big beards, leather vests, tatoos etc. They were pretty bad looking dudes. Finally, they stood up and said: "We are BYU fans, and if you don't shut up right now, we're gonna' come down there and beat the ____ out of you!" The foul mouthed SDSU fans were like angels the rest of the game.
