chance that you will be right. I've heard a lot said about what a big difference can be made between year 1 and year 2 of a new scheme. And your point about being in the system a few years is spot on - last year everyone was thrust into a brand new scheme, and who played was determined by who picked it up most quickly and most reliably. This year and beyond, it is more likely that we'll see kids who put their time in the system without being asked to shoulder the whole burden of winning the games, thereby looking better when they first step onto the field having more experience. The fact that from here on out most of our players will probably be like tanner, having spent some time studying the offense without being in the starting role, will likely bode well for us.
