Usually, you give the HC chance to clear house to see if it improves. Rarely is the head coach the first fired.

and most HC's have buyouts, whereas coordinators and position coaches don't

I agree, being that this was Kalani's 1st shot as a HC and he had not "built" his own staff (let alone many have said)
