We have had our 2009 Honda Pilot for years and it is been a pretty reliable

Toyota for trucks and off-road SUVs (4Runner, Sequoia). Honda for family-oriented SUVs (Pilot, Passport, CRV)

I drive both and am partial to Toyota. Honda repairs tend to be more expensive.
