I was a Toyota guy until I met my wife. She had a 2004 Honda Civic EX at the time and it was one of the best cars we've ever had. I bought a 2013 Accord EX-L after in 2015 and just sold it last year (begrudgingly) for about 4k less than I bought it for. We have a 2011 Odyssey too that is pretty much bulletproof in terms of reliability. When we sell that we will likely get one of their mid sized SUVs.
