our problems with this offense this past year was we didn't have enough...
...scoring options at the rim for when defenses were aggressively defending the 3pt line and pushing us off of it. Fouss was our most consistent scorer at the rim but he has hobbled by injuries making it hard to rely on him. He should've been a dominant presence in the paint vs Duquesne and he kind of fell apart and had one of his worst games of the year. They did enough to bother him with help and recover defense to throw him off. We didn't adjust to that tactic very well.

Jaxson Robinson shot the ball really well from deep and provided some mid-range offense as well (15 pts from deep and 10 pts from mid-range and FT line) but didn't touch the ball the last 5 mins of the game. Dallin did very little the first 35 mins of the game and then scored our last 7 of our last 9 pts down the stretch.

Aside from the tremendous effort by both SJ and Jaxson we had too many guys meltdown due to the defensive pressure. We need more diversity in our offense for next season including an aggressive, ball-handling guard or two who can play downhill on attack when the offense stalls (like a Pop Isaacs) and a player or two who can score in the mid-range off the bounce when that's all the defense is giving us. Sometimes you face a really good defense and you just gotta take what they give you in order to get some points on the board and avoid letting the game get away from you.
