Those are the most efficient shots in basketball. Don't need phenomenal shooters, just competent ones. 3s are a much
better shot that mid-range pull ups. Those mid-range jumpers are the worst shot in basketball, with the only possible exception being somebody like Booker, KD, CP3 that have unreal mid-range games. Even then, they should be taking more threes.
So I'm all in favor of pushing the boundaries on this rim and 3 offense. It's the way the game is heading, so we might as well stay ahead of the curve.
