I'd embellish it even more. Keep the open ceiling

And buy extremely rich furniture to go with my enormous house. Size matters right? Maybe some antique hand carved chests that are 10 feet tall, with markings from a poor laborer who spent his entire meager wage buying tools so I could have a more beautiful piece of art to fit in my home which has "trey" as in very cool, ceilings.
