i actually encountered it.

i had two meetings with them...one was over some RA turning me in, anonymously, because he thought my hair was too long. probably did it the last day before i actually went in and got a haircut and when i showed up at the meeting to find out why i was summoned it became a non-issue.

the 2nd, i owned a BYU approved housing unit. one night some guys who were friends of one of my roommates came down from utah state and were sitting outside drinking wine coolers. none of the BYU students were drinking. the USU guys threw their emptiees into the back of my roommates little toyota pickup. another "overly pious" guy who lived next door walked past the truck in my driveway the next morning and reported my friend to HCO and they sent an "investigator" who i had to convince that we weren't throwing wild parties and should be "allowed" to keep our BYU approved housing status. what a circus.
