Gaic is no longer paid by the University. Boylen was to be paid the remainder of his contract unless he was hired by another program. Since he is now an NBA assistant, his salary counts against what Utah owes him on his old contract. So, yes, he is still being paid by the U, but it is not as much as it could have been.
