I mean sure, there was the bull about "holding people responsible" before he classlessly ran up the score on Wyoming (but seriously, guys--their coach told Wyoming students they were going to beat Utah--what could be more offensive?); there was the fact he turned down an offer to be HC at his alma mater; sure, his wife probably lied about getting hit by a byu fan, his son acted like a total punk and picked a fight and threw said fan's phone away, and his daughter went for Halloween as a pregnant BYU cheerleader; sure, he negatively recruits against BYU and appears to deceive recruits about their role on Utah's team; sure, he runs his program as a total hanger-on of BYU (gets all his coaches from BYU, gets all his recruiting ideas from BYU, etc.); sure, he's trying to end the rivalry and claims the team is bigger than it; sure, he once referred to BYU as "the wusses down south"; sure, at least three of his players got DUIs in 2010 without being suspended (see above about holding people responsible); sure, he only suspended a player for a game against Montana State after being arrested driving drunk on the wrong side of the freeway after leaving a meeting with his teammates (again, see holding people responsible); and, of course, sure, there's the fact he refuses to do anything about his fans' deplorable behavior, which includes insulting his alma mater, and, more importantly, his own religion (as well as that of a good percentage of his team), though other coaches and athletic departments have provided excellent blueprints for curbing bad behavior; but beyond all that, what's there not like?
