That isn't opinion. It's fact. I haven't heard that they've been looking at Haws yet. And you obviously didn't watch the Florida game. KC was better against an elite 8 team that day than Haws was against freaking USD tonight. He did so many key things in that game that we get blown out if he doesn't get those 15 rebounds and his defense and passing. Tonight we had Haws and lost to USD.
Haws is a scorer but that's about it right now. I'm not putting him down. We obviously need that. It's really great to have a player who can have a bad game and still have 20 points to show for it. But overall he had a bad game tonight. He had like only one rebound, zero assists, no steals and a couple of turnovers. He made about half his shots, but had at least a couple of missed layups. He's not a liabilty on defense but he also doesn't really do anything special there. He can be slowed down by physical play even by some not very good teams. Collinsworth doesn't have to be a scorer, but he does all the other stuff better, in fact A LOT better. I'm just saying they will be complementary players next year, which is what we need because currently we have no one who does the kinds of things a Collinsworth type player does. And he will get the ball to Haws in much better postions to score than the current players can do.
