Did both routes last week, through Vegas/Kingman/Wickenburg and through
Hurricane/Fredonia/Flagstaff. Did Vegas on the way down and Flagstaff/Fredonia on the way back. Road through Page is closed so that is not an option. If you go that way, you have to go through 89A/Fredonia.
Both routes are within 10-15 minutes of each other time wise. I guess it depends on which desert scenery you prefer.
From St. George, any GPS is likely going to send you through Vegas.
