(honest question) did we destroy a lot of cultural/historic sites/buildings in
Iraq when we invaded? Most of the stuff I heard about was Iraqis looting and destroying, but obviously that's from the American media.
Of course, Iran's decision to put an enrichment facility so close to Qom would make it more difficult to preserve those buildings, I assume.
