Muir Woods is just outside of SF

Easy trip to see some coastal redwoods. Not as big as the others but still pretty dang big.

Coit Tower in SF is a nice view location. It's free and pretty close to the winding section of Lombard St.

Alcatraz is cool but book tickets at least a month in advance.
