Like in my previous post (http://www.cougarboard.com/board/message.html?id=10992066), I have created some figures based off of some data.
The 2 figures in this post show BYU quarterback passer ratings from 2005 to 2012. The first figure shows the rating of each QB in each individual game. The second figure shows the mean of each QB's first 5 games ever and of his last 5 games ever - to compare.
Here is the imgur link to the figures: http://imgur.com/o8enrT5,GCSgGv5#0
And here they are:

Some notes about the figures:
- For Riley Nelson, I did not include any of his mop-up games in the data (from when he was back-up for Max Hall), nor any pre-BYU games
- For Taysom Hill, there isn't much data yet. I excluded one of his games because the passer rating was extremely high - it was most definitely an outlier.
- The passer rating formula used is the NCAA version defined at this Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passer_rating
- The data was obtained from http://www.cfbstats.com/ and processed using both C# and Matlab
