I could see that, but haven't seen a breakdown of who's coming and who's leaving to know for sure. Additionally, there are always guys who transfer out or get hurt, which frees up spots, but this is at least plausible. Additionally, it would also be plausible that they would have room for him next year, but they don't like him enough to use up one of those limited spots. All that said, the reports on the Utah recruiting sites say that he decided not to go on a mission and not to go to BYU, at which point he went to the U coaches. It wasn't something where he decided to stay home, went to BYU, and was told there wasn't a spot, at least if you're going to believe what those sites have been told (which I'm sure many here won't; of course, this whole Pita thing has shown that, at least in this instance, the Utah guys are much more credible than Talo).
