Doesn't really matter. He'll have the same eligibility as any other freshman.
Since he decided to go to the U instead of the Y. He was going to end up waiting 3 years to play a sport he just learned last year and would've lost a year of eligibility going to the Y.
In my opinion, he may have been lost in the 3 years anyway for the Y's tract they laid out in front of him
EDIT: and by lost, I'm referring to his athletic ability and nothing spiritual. Just in case someone takes it that route
