Except for the little fact that BYU already has mutiple Championships in the MWC
and yet can't buy beg or barrow one in the WCC speaks for itself. Not to mention the fact that the WCC has only one team below .500 and that was only because they lost a conference game last week.

Her is the current MWC standings:
Conference Overall
schools W-L PCT W-L PCT
1. San Diego State 7-0 1.000 18-1 .947
2. New Mexico 6-1 .857 15-4 .789
3. Nevada 5-2 .714 10-10 .500
4. Wyoming 4-2 .667 13-6 .684
5. Boise State 4-3 .571 14-6 .700
6. UNLV 4-3 .571 13-7 .650
7. Colorado State 3-4 .429 12-8 .600
8. Air Force 3-4 .429 9-9 .500
9. Utah State 2-5 .286 12-7 .632
10. Fresno State 1-7 .125 8-13 .381
11. San José State 0-8 .000 6-14 .300

If you will notice that that other than the top 2 the rest of the conferences over all winning % isn't all that good and that their are 4 teams of .500 or less and the bottem two are the pits.

The WCC Standings:

Team Overall PCT CONF PCT
Gonzaga 18-3 .857 8-1 .888
St. Mary's 16-5 .762 6-2 .750
San Francisco 13-8 .619 6-3 .666
Brigham Young 13-9 .591 5-4 .555
Pepperdine 12-10 .545 5-5 .500
Portland 12-9 .571 4-5 .444
San Diego 12-10 .545 3-6 .333
Santa Clara 10-12 .455 3-6 .333
Loyola Marymount 11-11 .500 3-7 .300
Pacific 11-8 .579 2-6 .250

You will notice that the WCCs over all record is on the whole better than the MWC. Condsidering the overall records I think that most of the WCC team woul do well in the MWC.

*Note that the MWC standings are listed by conference win/loss where the WCC standings is listed by overall win/loss as this was the only way i could get them. (sigh)
