well (I'm not one) including former colleagues and players and heck, the media can attest that he doesn't take criticism very well or openly whether valid or not. Many of us may have the same trait which doesn't make it right either, but he's not the kind of guy that is "open to suggestions" from players or others on his coaching, play calling or style.

Just the way it is from a ton of various completely different sources I've heard but have seen some evidence of it from his public interactions that led me to believe there may be some truth to it.
