Comcast's old box was beyond awful, but the X1 we have now is pretty good - the same as the newer box from DirecTV that we had 8 months ago. Comcast blows DirecTV away when it comes to free On Demand tv shows etc and is way cheaper when bundled with internet. Make sure if you do go with Comcast go get the X1 box and make sure they give you free HD, installation and a 2nd box if you need it.
