I actually thought Atlas was one of the worst things I'd ever read in my life -- it was torture to get through. But Fountainhead, I'd recommend that to anyone.
That being said, the ideas in Atlas are maybe more interesting/challenging/thought-provoking/whatever. It's that the story bored me to death and that she repeats the same ideas -- however interesting they may be -- over and over and over and over again. Killed me.
Anthem I read only because of 2112. Again, boring story (I thought). A few interesting ideas, but pushing it a little too hard.
It's strange, because I really wouldn't call myself a Rand fan at all, but still think Fountainhead was a genuinely great read.
